Nexus Automation and Orchestration using DevOps Tools 9:45 - 10:45 a.m.

DevOps has solved issues between developers and Operators but the network is still a bottleneck. How can you remove this bottleneck? Can you leverage the same toolset as DevOps engineers? Yes! We'll show you how to automate and orchestrate network infrastructure using DevOps tools.

Next Generation Meetings 9:45 - 10:45 a.m.

Cisco is all about making meetings simple, allowing users to stop thinking about the technology and get on with their meetings. To achieve this, Cisco created Collaboration Meeting Rooms. This session will cover the architecture involved in enabling business with Premise, Hybrid or Cloud Collaboration Meeting rooms. We'll cover user experience, licensing and best practices along with the latest enhancements and connectivity requirements.

DNA Programmability 11 a.m. - Noon

Learn about the building blocks of the Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA), including an introduction to REST APIs, how to code in Python and how to use programmability in the context of controllers and device-level interfaces.

Firepower Threat Defense: The First Threat-Centric Firewall 11 a.m. - Noon

Cisco Firepower Threat Defense software version 6.1 is now available for Cisco ASA Next-Gen Firewalls and Firepower Appliances! We'll demonstrate the ease and rapid speed of deployment of Nex-Gen Firewall and Next-Gen IPS services, deployment scenarios, latest features and inspection/mitigation techniques. We'll also cover Firepower Device Manager, the new on-box management interface and how and when to leverage it.

Cloud Collaboration with Cisco Spark 11 a.m. - Noon

Cloud collaboration capabilities are exploding at Cisco! This session will cover Cisco Spark and all of its offerings and integrations. This includes Spark Call, Spark Room and Spark APIs. Spark provides always-on, secure team messaging and file sharing along with meet anywhere capabilities and screen sharing. See what it's all about!

ACI - Application Centric Infrastructure 11 a.m. - Noon

Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) is taking data centers to the next step in automation, business agility, TCO reduction and acceleration of application deployments. As a technical introduction, this session will focus on how ACI behaves and functions with respect to the architecture, forwarding, features, configuration methods, stateless hardware and the use of overlays.

Data Center - DC Network Automation/Orchestration using DevOps Tools Lab 11 a.m. - Noon

The session will start with an overview of the commonly used DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins and Ansible. Then we'll show you how to develop Network Configuration Lifecycle (NCLC) using these tools. Next we'll go into building a pipeline using NCLC for deploying simple network configurations such as configuring vlans. You'll witness the power of infrastructure automation and orchestration using DevOps tools.

The Evolution of Wireless and Prime Infrastructure 1 - 2 p.m.

802.11ac Wave 2 is here. This session will explore the latest in wireless technologies and the impact they have on the network. In Prime, we'll look at the major areas including inventory, element and configuration management.

Enabling Security Everywhere on Enterprise Networks 2:15 - 3:15 p.m.

There are two approaches to network security: one is to an overlay security architecture that most of the security-only companies tend to believe in and the other approach is to have a comprehensive, network-enabled approach to cybersecurity, which we at Cisco believe in. In this introductory session, you'll learn why enterprise security has to be multilayered and how Cisco's network enables you to do "Security Everywhere.

When compute, storage and networking are combined in a single infrastructure, the result is software-defined infrastrurcture. We'll provide a deeper architectural understanding of Cisco's innovative HyperFlex systems that help with faster application delivery, better resource allocation and efficient operations.

Collaboration - Cisco Spark API Lab 2:15 - 3:15 p.m.

This lab will take you through the Spark Service and open API integration. We'll walk you through Cisco DevNet for Spark and show you how to easily integrate with the Spark Services with pre-built tools or develop your own through the API.
