EA Workspace Setup

Introducing the EA Workspace

We’ve made it easier than ever to manage your enterprise-wide Cisco Collaboration software. The self-service EA Workspace is your one-stop shop for:

  • License generation
  • Cloud provisioning
  • EA device management (including upgrades)
  • Real-time consumption reporting

Goodbye PAKs... Hello Simplicity

All licenses included in your Collaboration EA are available in the Workspace. If you are a migration user (PAK to Workspace), all licenses that were generated using those PAKs are still valid and have been migrated to the EA Workspace. If you have any questions or concerns about migrated data, please reach out to the Collaboration EA Operations team collab-ela-support@cisco.com.

Accessing the Workspace

Your Collaboration EA suite entitlements have been added to your “Collaboration EA” Virtual Account in your Smart Account, and the Smart Account creator for your company has already been granted access to the EA Workspace. To begin using the EA Workspace:

Step 5

Select the Smart Account you wish to navigate to by clicking on the drop down.

Step 6

Based on your Smart Account selection, you must then choose a Virtual Account by clicking on select one

  • For Collaboration EA products, select the Collaboration EA Virtual Account

Step 7

Once you’ve selected a Virtual Account, all suite and license related details will appear. You can also see your contract numbers appended in the Customer Suite.

Requesting Access for Others

To gain access for additional users, you must add their CCO IDs or associated email address to your Collaboration EA Virtual Account. For training on adding users to a Smart Account, please refer to this online information. For any assistance and/or issues with adding users to your Smart Account, please contact smart-support-team@cisco.com.

Tips

  • Designate a small group of subject matter experts (SMEs) responsible for license generation and modification. SMEs will better understand the implications of their actions related to licensing.
  • Restrict the number of people with access to the EA Workspace.

Advanced Training

Now that you’ve got everything set up, take a tour of the EA Workspace and learn how to perform top tasks.
